Judd Has Arrived!

Well, after 7 hours of labor (short for me) on Wednesday March 5 at 4:08 pm, our little Judd William Coffey has arrived. He was 8 lbs. 5 ounces and 20 inches long. He has jet black hair and chubby cheeks like his momma. I think he has some similarities to Owen but really looks like his Uncle Nate. He is an awesome eater and cute as a button. The boys LOVE him. I had him completely natural with absolutely no drugs, and I am very proud of myself for that. I did the same with Owen and most of my labor with Raymond, but I am proud that I can do that, since I am usually such a big weenie when it comes to pain!
When the boys got to the hospital after he was born, Owen jumped right in wanting to touch him and kiss him and hold him. Raymond, on the other hand, I think was a little freaked out about the hospital and therefore didn't want anything to do with him at first. But after being there a few minutes it was like a light bulb came on and he was like ' Oh, this is Judd that we've talked about for so long', cause then all of a sudden he wanted to touch him and kiss him too. The boys have been great. I think Raymond feels just a little sadness at losing his baby status and at times doesn't want anything to do with Judd, but other times he's right in there playing with him.
I feel really bad for the boys right now though, because it is just the 4 of us while daddy is working this week, and our days go by so fast that I don't even get a shower until around 3pm. They are just bopping around the house not knowing what to do. I wanted to have a fun mommy and boys week, but Judd has jaundice and has to be in the Billi lights for a few days which means we are home bound. I am really upset and sad about this for Judd, but also because the boys and I had made plans to go to the park and to lunch, ET. AL tomorrow since it will be about 60 degrees. We have to now scrap those plans and the boys will once again be bored hanging around the house. Also, Owen was really looking forward to bringing his brothers to preschool and showing them off tomorrow and now I am just hoping that we can at least do that on Friday.
Otherwise things are just lazy around here the last few days. The next few days I am going to get busy doing stuff because I have a HUGE list of things that I need to get done while I am not working this week. Starting Monday, I have the daycare kids back once again (pout) :) but hopefully they will just play and be happy so I can not get stressed out!

These are just a few of the many pictures that we have, but I am adding this link to see my slideshow . Judd is now off the bililights and is free from house arrest! (this update is as of 3/11/08!)

Glad Judd's doing better (poor guy). At least when the daycare kids come back, ya'll can start going outside more, even though the canopy on your patio set went AWOL.
